Nothing happens during a hypnotherapy session that you don’t want to happen. Clinical Hypnotherapy is a form of deep relaxation. By using hypnotherapy a therapist can reach the subconscious mind by allowing your conscious mind to rest. That way we can remove negative patterns of thinking and behaviour or simply find the real root of a problem.


Hypnosis is a safe and relaxing experience and is particularly successful in helping with:

The Rejyouvenate Wellness approach to hypnotherapy is again, a very personal experience. During the initial session, I'll gather as much information as you feel I need to know about your presenting concern. Then I'll take you on a hypnotic journey, allowing your subconscious mind to take in the new suggestions, replacing the outdated methods of functioning.

We recommend three to five sessions of hypnosis to replace old habits and patterns with new ways to implement the desired changes, depending on the depth and length of time the old thought patterns have been present.

How Does Hypnosis Work?

Our minds work on two levels: the conscious level, which is the everyday thinking, talking, doing mind, and the subconscious level, where the heart beats, blood flows and lungs operate without having to think about it. This is also where habits are stored.

Once you are relaxed into hypnosis, powerful hypnotic suggestions are spoken to your subconscious mind that can help undo all the beliefs you have about your addiction to smoking, and all you have to do is sit there in a peaceful rest.
The hypnosis itself takes three to five sessions.

A fact finding first session prior to hypnosis allows me to find out all the details about your smoking habit. This allows me to write up the best hypnosis for you, because everyone has their own reasons and habits for smoking.

Q: Will I turn into a chicken?

A: NO! You have free will. I cannot make you say or do anything you wouldn’t normally do, unless you choose to do it.

Q: Can you manipulate me to say and do things?

A: NO! Free will. If I told you to run down the road naked, you wouldn’t do it (unless that’s something you normally do already!).

Q: Will I become stuck in Hypnosis?

A: NO! Hypnosis is a form of deep relaxation, if you decided to open your eyes, get up from your chair and leave, you could. 


"Ever looked in the mirror and felt disgusted in yourself? That’s how I felt before I chose to call Matt to quit smoking. Fifteen years of smoking led me to this disgust. Smoking was the worst thing I have ever done and calling Matt was the best decision of my life.

Don’t get me wrong I have thought about smoking but more in a “When I smoked” or “Normally when this happened I would smoke” I can now happily call myself a non-smoker. 24 days and counting smoke free!!
